Warning To Our Followers

Editors at Alexa.com
By Fax:  (415) 561-6795

Dear Editors,

Following the note we sent to you last October 12 via a private e-mail you acknowledged receiving, this is to reiterate that the contacts listed for www.dullesnow.org are false.  Gianotto Penati is not, nor ever was, the owner.  Mr. Penati was a professional we briefly hired to design a web site later abandoned.  He has no other relation to Dulles NOW.  The fax and e-mail you publish are those of a person with whom we are in a legal situation for possible Internet fraud and identity theft, the fastest growing crimes in the US.  This is explained at www.dullesnow.org/contact.html as a warning to our followers.

I am, and always was, the owner of www.dullesnow.org and
www.dullesnow.com.  My telephone number is (703) 255-2516.  My fax is (703) 255-7161.  Dulles NOW does not have a public e-mail.  This is also outlined at www.dullesnow.org/contact.html.  Accordingly, this is to request again that the above changes be made without delay in order to protect the public from scams, financial and otherwise.  While site ownership is easily traceable, we nevertheless remain at the disposal of your legal department.

We would like to take this opportunity to express dismay at the gross misrepresentation of our group.  From your 'People Who Visit This Site' to the few links selected out of the thousands you know connect to Dulles NOW, the absence of description of what we do, the omitting 'Look For Similar Sites By Category' and more, the wrong image you created is so unfair and inaccurate that it amounts to willful and malicious slander.  Indeed, clicking upon your much-hyped 'Wayback Machine', we found that you did not record our site in 2000, even though Alexa.com indicates we were on line then.  You recorded only nine pages and five updates in 2001, even though the site widely expanded that year and was constantly updated, and you simply disconnected us again in 2002, even though we publish and update weekly.  So much for the accuracy of the trumpeted 'digital library' you claim to offer to the unlucky 'researchers, historians and scholars'.

All this amounts to censorship.  There is obviously something you do not want your readers to know.  Perhaps it is our stand against a rapist US president?  The denunciation of the monstrous Sharon government? Our calling for an end to the trafficking of women and girls?  Our exposing the prostitution industry or our urging a ban of the atrocious partial-birth abortions?  All are dear to the Democratic party.

Whatever your reasons, we will not ask you to correct the false picture you painted of
www.dullesnow.org.  Constitutional protections allow you to publish what you want, just as we do.  A quick survey of other sites found on Alexa.com showed, sadly, that we hardly are the only ones to be ill-represented.  Likewise, we shall not comment on your fanciful 'Average Traffic Rank" as web recording government experts in Washington, candidly speaking on conditions of anonymity, told us they believe your 'ranking' is in fact manually logged to match commercial aims.  The many warnings you give about the unreliability of your program tend to comfort these views, as does the experience we have with you.

It is certainly disappointing to note that Alexa.com could not resist the smearing and lying so typical of what passes for the 'free' American media industry today: a propagandist and anti-democratic corporate-controlled system made to repress and manipulate on behalf of our two political parties.

Sincerely Yours,

Marie-Jose Ragab
President
