Most people in America are led to believe that D-Day marked the defeat of Nazism when it was in fact the Soviet Union that defeated Hitler in early February 1943, a struggle which claimed over 20 million Russian lives and millions more wounded. The Allies moved in when the core of the struggle was basically over.
France's Hollande, in an unusual and rare moment of inspired leadership, invited Russian president Vladimir Putin to attend the June 6th dazzling made-for-TV commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Normandy landings. Some twenty other nation leaders were also present including Barack Obama and Angela Merkel, the German leader gracious enough to applaud the show.
The silver-tongued drone-mad US president paid routine and empty flowery tributes to the fallen young soldiers, the military men Henry Kissinger, one of his advisors, dubbed 'stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy', that is to be slaughtered at will. Slaughtered they were and slaughtered they continue to be under Obama, the man who promised to end wars as a way to get elected. That done, he proceeded to launch additional criminal wars in Libya and Syria, as if Afghanistan and Iraq were not enough, and now in the Ukraine.
Has anything been learned since the 1944 landings?
Prior and during WWII, prominent Americans actively helped develop the Hitlerian regime. They were Democrat and Republican politicians, businessmen, bankers, intelligence services, Zionist Jews, media, some European leaders, all united while Nazis plundered, tortured, and burned people alive.
Today, the US is again striving to ignite another European war on Russian borders with the open and active support of prominent Democrat and Republican politicians, businessmen, bankers, intelligence services, Zionist Jews, media, some European leaders, all united while Neo-Nazis in Ukraine resume the plundering, torturing and burning of people alive.
Russians are again standing up against a European fascism the West never stopped to nurture. Russian women are, once more, trying to stop enemy tanks with bare hands. In America, Henry Kissinger's 'dumb animals' are treated as such in veteran hospitals.
In the absence of meaningful US antiwar, human rights and feminist movements, Dulles Now called for the impeachment of Barack Obama in March 2011 as the only way left to perhaps halt American disintegration into mindless violence and destruction abroad, the inevitable resulting economic meltdown at home and the developing vicious police state. We still do.
In the meantime, the Dulles NOW Executive Committee unanimously urges Europeans to oppose the current US-sponsored Nazi revival, salutes the Russian people's heroic WWII victory and applauds the resolute leadership of President Putin.
